Role overview

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reconciling, reviewing, and resolving Balance Sheet General Ledger (GL) account issues.
  • Maintain effective controls and governance over reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Execute month‑end close activities to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Timely and accurate reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Timely and accurate closure of month‑end activities.
  • Analyse account balances and activity for accuracy, proactively identify risks, and implement corrective controls.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report metrics for management reporting.
  • Create and maintain up‑to‑date documentation for the respective accounts.
  • Identify process‑improvement ideas to drive operational efficiencies and improve the control environment.

Requirements

  • Fresh Qualified CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA with 1‑2 years of relevant GL accounting experience.
  • Detail oriented and able to work independently.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload while meeting strict deadlines and managing pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.

Nice to have

  • Hands‑on experience with any ERP such as SAP, Workday, etc.
  • Working knowledge of automation tools.
