Role overview
Amazon Marketplace Specialist – Remote role in India focused on end‑to‑end ownership of individual Amazon products. The specialist will drive product performance and visibility through optimization, marketplace analysis, marketing initiatives, and A/B testing while collaborating with internal teams to ensure products are available, well‑positioned, and presented effectively throughout the customer journey.
Responsibilities
- Take end‑to‑end responsibility for assigned Amazon products
- Optimize product listings to improve visibility, conversion, and overall performance
- Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities to improve product discoverability
- Plan, execute, and evaluate A/B tests for product content and presentation
- Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and other teams to optimize product presentation
- Coordinate regarding product availability, images, videos, descriptions, and other marketplace content
- Monitor and analyze product performance and relevant KPIs
- Use data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Support and implement Amazon marketing activities and campaigns
- Research competitors, marketplace trends, and customer behavior
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Amazon processes and strategies
- Stay up to date with developments in Amazon and other online marketplaces
Requirements
- Experience in marketing, e‑commerce, or marketplace sales
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Strong analytical and data‑driven approach
- Experience or interest in keyword research and product optimization
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Proactive communication and problem‑solving mindset
- Strong team‑player mentality
- Willingness to dive into new topics and learn quickly
- Ability to take ownership and work independently in a remote environment
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Nice to have
- Experience with Amazon / Amazon marketplace operations is desirable
- Experience with marketplaces such as eBay, Zalando, or Etsy is an advantage
