Role overview

BlackRock’s PFS Investment Partners is seeking a motivated professional to join its Mumbai‑based Management Company Accounting team as part of the Accounts Payable function. Reporting to the New York‑based Executive Director of Accounts Receivable/Payable within the Global Controller’s Group, the role will focus on processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and supporting the Firm’s Vendor Risk Management Program.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with New York‑based AP Managers and other HPS Accounts Payable professionals to ensure that all amounts due are verified, processed and paid in an accurate and timely manner including:
  • Verification of invoice authenticity
  • Approval of invoices with HPS vendor managers
  • Accurate processing of invoice data in HPS’s Workday ERP
  • Invoice specific research
  • Payment status updates
  • Vendor communications
  • Construction of accurate and well supported allocation files
  • Verification of supplier details to ensure proper payment processing
  • Supplier analytics
  • Participation in regular team meetings and interactive group chats
  • Work collectively with team to ensure processes are effective in periods of high volume
  • Assist in the improvement of current processes and procedures to enhance controls and efficiency as well as special projects and troubleshooting on an as needed basis

Requirements

  • 4-9 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience
  • Ability to work New York hours
  • Detail oriented and motivated individual with strong communication skills
  • An inquisitive and curious mindset
  • Demonstrates competency in problem solving

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related field preferred
  • Experience with Workday a significant plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office a plus

  • Position reports to the New York‑based ED of Accounts Receivable/Payable and works within the Global Controller’s Group.
