Role overview
The role leads collections targets and controls collection flow for a specified area while managing a large team of collection officers, overseeing their productivity and performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the collections target and control collection flow for the specified area.
- Handle a large team of collection officers, managing their productivity and performance.
- Achieve collection targets of the assigned area, control flow cases and focus on non‑starters.
- Ensure documented feedback is provided.
- Ensure adequate feet‑on‑street availability bucket‑wise and segment‑wise.
- Manage productivity by setting productivity parameters for collection officers, agencies, and in‑house team.
- Monitor performance against set parameters and conduct weekly reviews with collection executives.
- Conduct background checks of all collection agencies hired; identify and manage training needs of collection executives; evaluate performance of all collection executives.
- Support collection officers with legal, police, and collection activity issues.
Requirements
- More than 4+ years of relevant experience in a collections role.
- People management skills.
- Demonstrated success and achievement orientation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Negotiation skills with a strong bias for driving results in a high‑performance environment.
- Strong relationship and leadership skills.
- Working knowledge of computers.

- Graduation/Post‑graduation education preferred.
