Role overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Python/Django developer with deep expertise in building scalable SaaS platforms, workflow orchestration, and real-time systems. You will architect and deliver production-grade backends leveraging Django REST Framework, multi-tenant PostgreSQL databases, Celery/Redis async pipelines, and Apache Airflow—while integrating AI/ML APIs and third-party services such as Slack and PagerDuty.

Responsibilities

Building RESTful APIs with Django REST Framework (serializers, viewsets, authentication)
Designing complex databases and optimizing Django ORM queries
Orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow (DAGs, scheduling, workflow automation)
Implementing distributed task queues and background job processing with Celery + Redis
Developing WebSocket consumers for real-time updates using Django Channels
Architecting multi-tenant SaaS solutions with schema-per-tenant data isolation
Implementing JWT authentication and role-based access control (RBAC)
Integrating AI/ML APIs (Google Gemini, OpenAI) and OAuth 2.0 third-party connections (Slack, PagerDuty)
Applying service-layer and repository design patterns
Using Git version control in Linux/Unix environments

Requirements

8+ years Python development experience, including 5+ years in production Django projects
Strong PostgreSQL skills covering schema design, complex queries, and performance optimization
Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, DAG development, and scheduling of data pipelines
Production experience with Celery task queues and Redis
Proven track record building scalable REST APIs
Solid understanding of multi-tenant architecture and data-isolation strategies
Excellent problem-solving and code-organization skills
