Role overview
Our client, a Fortune 50 company, is seeking Senior FS Engineers with the main skill .NET Core and React/TypeScript to work on the modernization of the fleet management platform. The client wants engineers with experience using AI-assisted development tools in practice. The ideal candidate will have a consulting approach and engineering mindset. This is a long-term remote-first contract position with a required overlap of US working hours (2-6 PM CET).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using .NET, C# and React.
- Implement microfrontend architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Modernize and modularly decompose a large enterprise platform.
- Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
- Work with databases including MS SQL, NoSQL, and Redis for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Integrate authentication mechanisms using OAuth2 and JWT.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments.
- Apply security best practices, following OWASP guidelines to prevent vulnerabilities like SQL Injection (SQLi), Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), and Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF).
- Utilize Azure services, such as AppService, Service Bus, Functions, and SQL Database, for cloud-based hosting and scaling.
Requirements
- Backend: .NET (Core), C#, Entity Framework Core
- Frontend: React/Typescript, Microfrontends
- Architecture: Microservices, CQRS, Dependency Injection
- Databases: CosmosDB
- Cloud & DevOps: Azure (AppService, Functions, Service Bus, SQL Database), Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, CI/CD
- Testing & Debugging: xUnit/NUnit, Profiling tools, Static code analysis, Postman, Fiddler
- AI Engineering Assistants Fluency: The candidate must demonstrate practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools, such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or equivalent tools
Nice to have
- Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
- AI Development experience
- Security best practices (OWASP, authentication standards).
- Design patterns and software architecture knowledge.
