Role overview
DB2 DBA – L3 Support Experience: 3–5 years Required Skills & Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe DB2 on z/OS. Experience with IBM DB2 V13 for z/OS and IMS DB. Strong knowledge of DB2 performance tuning, including SQL query optimization, index management, workload management, DB2 Performance Monitor, and BMC APPTUNE. Hands-on experience with DB2/BMC utilities such as REORG, RUNSTATS, COPY, LOAD, UNLOAD, MODIFY, CHECK, RECOVER, REBUILD, and BIND/REBIND.
