Role overview
Publitas turns static PDFs into interactive, shoppable digital content discovery experiences. Its Reach proposition — consumer portals including in the Benelux and Promozilla portals across ~40 countries — connects millions of shoppers with localized retail deals, flyers, and promotions and serves as a core traffic and engagement engine for the company. The Growth Marketing Manager owns consumer traffic growth across these portals end to end.
Responsibilities
- Own consumer traffic growth across Publitas portals end to end
- Protect and grow the Benelux market, where the bulk of current traffic sits
- Build a repeatable acquisition playbook to scale newer Promozilla portals from a standing start
- Own every lever that moves consumers to the portals: organic/SEO, social, affiliates and partnerships, paid, and lifecycle/retention
- By Day 30: achieve full campaign continuity with zero disruption to active Benelux flows; audit traffic sources across the portal network to establish a clear baseline of what drives volume in each live market; build a working relationship with product and development
- By Day 60: identify the highest-yield channel per market and the friction points capping growth (technical, behavioral, or distributional); ship the first round of experiments across organic, paid, social, partnerships, or lifecycle with early measurable lift
- By Day 90: ensure highest-leverage channels are running predictably in Benelux; draft and align a scalable acquisition playbook to roll out to nascent Promozilla markets, mapped to the development team's product and UX/UI ETAs for Q3/Q4
- Treat the portal network like your own business — read the data, uncover the insight, chase down the tracking gap, and make high-impact calls autonomously
- Constantly test unconventional loops, optimize channel mix, and treat every performance drop as a data point to dissect and iterate on
- Use generative AI and automation to scale campaign copy and localization, build programmatic reporting loops, and trigger automated workflows
Requirements
- Proven track record driving consumer traffic at scale across the full mix: organic/SEO (including programmatic/technical SEO), paid social and search, affiliates and partnerships, and lifecycle/retention
- Understanding of B2C shopper psychology and how audiences hunt for promotions
- Experience in app-first consumer marketplaces, coupon/deal platforms, news/media publishers, or large-scale e-commerce/affiliate networks
- Experience scaling traffic across many markets or properties; ability to standardize a playbook and localize it efficiently rather than rebuilding from scratch per market
- Demonstrable track record of using generative AI and automation to scale campaign copy and localization, build programmatic reporting loops, and trigger automated workflows — not 'AI-curious', but people already using AI with tangible impact
- Flawless professional English; exceptional written communication for an async-first global team
- Founder-level ownership, high autonomy, low ego, and comfort being judged on real health of portal traffic and retention in an 80% asynchronous remote environment
Nice to have
- Dutch language skills — strong plus
Benefits
- Competitive entry-level base salary of €40,000–€60,000 (geo-bracketed to EU location) with a clear performance-based path for career progression
- True remote autonomy: 80% asynchronous work using Notion and Slack; no screen monitoring or hour counting — trusted to own delivery targets
- Annual global team retreats: entire company gathers in inspiring cities to connect, strategize, and celebrate in person
- Premium workspace and gear: top-tier MacBook, high-end remote work accessories, and co-working allowance if you prefer an office environment
- Personal growth budget: monthly wellness allowance, education/course budget to sharpen SaaS skills, and free access to Kindle and Audible books
- 25 days of paid vacation plus local national holidays
