Role overview
RevoU is looking for a Copywriter Intern to craft engaging copy and simple visuals for email, WhatsApp, landing pages, and other marketing channels, supporting a fast‑moving, AI‑driven marketing team. The role involves writing in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, maintaining brand consistency, and contributing fresh ideas across various campaigns and programs.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging copy for email, WhatsApp, landing pages, and other marketing channels in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Create simple visuals (static posts, banners, infographics) using Canva or Figma to support copy
- Work closely with the marketing team to keep messaging consistent and impactful
- Adapt tone and style for different audiences while staying true to RevoU brand voice
- Contribute fresh ideas for campaigns, content themes, and communication strategies
Requirements
- A genuine love of writing and attention to clunky sentences or flat headlines
- Experience writing for a real audience before (student org, blog, social media, campus publication, internship, etc.)
- Comfortable switching tone and register naturally between Bahasa Indonesia and English
- A strong bias for action: start drafting, iterate fast based on feedback
- Use AI tools throughout the writing process (research, drafting, rewriting, exploring angles) and AI‑assisted design tools
- Basic visual sense: understand layout, hierarchy, and create clean static posts or banners in Canva or Figma
Nice to have
- Experience with Canva or Figma for basic content design
- Familiarity with email or WhatsApp marketing tools
- Interest or coursework in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- A portfolio or writing samples (social captions, articles, scripts, ad copy, etc.)
