Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the models in our warehouse, working in BigQuery with Dataform and dbt. You write and review models, commit your changes, and run releases yourself.
- Keep our marketing and sales data pipelines healthy, including platform connectors, so that new ad accounts and new products land in the warehouse correctly from day one.
- Own product and brand mapping, and fix mismatches at the source rather than patching the report.
- Investigate discrepancies across every layer, from the ad platform through the raw tables and transformed models to the chart itself.
- Build and maintain reporting in Looker Studio, including data sources, calculated fields and access.
- Build data quality checks and alerts so that missing or broken data is noticed before anyone downstream sees it.
- Reconcile our numbers against external systems and partners, and document the definitions behind metrics such as active subscription, active customer and churn.
- Answer questions from Media Buying, Finance and Operations in plain language, backed by a query you can show.
- And other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

- Familiarity with dbt and Dataform, including Git-based workflows.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling and consistent, reusable metric definitions.
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI.
- Strong attention to detail and persistence in tracing numbers back to their source across every layer, from the platform to the final report.
