Role overview
You will serve as the Technical Lead for the Azure Integration & Digital Applications Team, requiring a hands-on engineering leader who can design and deliver modern cloud-native solutions across both backend services and customer-facing web experiences. In this role, you will lead the development of scalable enterprise platforms, APIs, integrations, and modern web applications that power PMI's eCommerce, Membership, Learning, CRM, Payment, and Digital Experience ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Technical Lead for the Azure Integration & Digital Applications Team.
- Design and deliver modern cloud-native solutions across both backend services and customer-facing web experiences.
- Lead the development of scalable enterprise platforms, APIs, integrations, and modern web applications that power PMI's eCommerce, Membership, Learning, CRM, Payment, and Digital Experience ecosystems.
- Act as a hands-on engineering leader.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET technologies.
- 5+ years of hands-on Azure development experience.
- Deep expertise in .NET and Azure Cloud technologies.
- Strong experience in modern front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Single Page Applications (SPA).
- Strong DevOps, CI/CD, architecture, and technical leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience of building distributed technology solutions on cloud technologies.
- Excellent understanding of the software development cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge or experience in Backend: C#, .NET Core / .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, REST APIs, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture.
- Knowledge or experience in Cloud & Integration: Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Event Grid, Azure API Management, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Key Vault, Application Insights.
- Knowledge or experience in Front-End: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SPA Development, Responsive Design.
- Knowledge or experience in DevOps: Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing enterprise integration patterns.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, resiliency, and cloud-native architecture design.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as: CRM, ERP, eCommerce, Membership Systems, Learning Management Systems, Payment Platform.
- Experience with systems integration preferred.
