Junior UI/UX designer

Hiring Junior UI/UX Designer (Remote) We're looking for a curious and motivated Junior Designer to join our product team at Eclipse360. This role is perfect for someone with foundational UI/UX design experience who is eager to learn, iterate `quickly, and contribute to a platform that's transforming solar industry. As a Junior Designer at Eclipse360, you'll work closely with our product managers and development team to design intuitive user experiences for solar installers, sales teams, and project managers. You'll be involved in the entire design process—from brainstorming complex workflows to creating high-fidelity designs for features like our design creator, proposal generator, battery calculator, and CRM dashboards. What You'll Do Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our web-based solar platform Collaborate with product managers to brainstorm and create smooth workflows for solar sales and project management Translate complex solar industry requirements into simple, elegant user experiences Use Figma, whiteboarding tools, and AI-powered design tools to rapidly move from concept to execution Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across our growing product Design data-heavy interfaces like dashboards, analytics views, and inventory management screens Communicate design decisions clearly and align stakeholders around solutions that balance business goals with exceptional user experience Participate in user research and testing to validate design decisions Ship features that real solar businesses use daily to manage their operations Experience & Skills: Minimum 1 year of experience in UI/UX design (B2B SaaS experience is a plus) Proficiency in Figma (portfolio showcasing B2B or data-heavy interfaces required) Experience with whiteboarding and collaboration tools (Miro, FigJam, etc.) Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate design workflows Strong visual design sense with attention to detail Ability to design complex workflows and multi-step processes Understanding of responsive design principles Ability to think from first principles and approach problems with fresh perspectives Mindset & Attributes: Quick learner with a growth mindset—you don't need to know solar industry but must be eager to learn Action-oriented—you prioritize shipping and iterating over perfectionism Less focused on design jargon, more focused on solving real problems for real users Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment Excellent communication skills and ability to advocate for your design decisions "I might not have the expertise yet, but I can learn quickly and deliver" attitude Comfortable designing for technical users (installers, project managers, sales teams) You'd Be a Great Fit If You...
