Responsibilities
Manage the 24x7 DC/DR/NDR network, Pan India, Network Support & Operations
Work closely with Network Projects, EUS leads, NOC, and other cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and improvements in supporting/managing the business
Analyse, design, implement, and maintain the networks F5 and Citrix NetScaler Load Balancer infrastructure
Inspect data packets and TCP, IP flow in network and application flow
Configure and maintain F5 and Citrix Load Balancers, load balancing best practices
Upgrade network operating systems software and hardware as per management requirements
Ensure plans are integrated effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure
Design and implement Load balancing rules using industry best practices
Communicate network architecture designs clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical decision makers
Perform security hardening of network systems
Develop or contribute to technical documentation including Low Level design documentation, Technical Implementation document, deployment/build plans, and test plans
Deploy designed solution within a testing environment to verify compliance with security and functional requirements
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) or Master of Science (M.Sc) / Master of Technology (M.Tech) / Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
10-18 years of experience
Working knowledge of switches, routers, and firewall concepts
Extensive knowledge of Load balancing technology including algorithms and health check options
Knowledge and experience regarding F5 BIG-IP LTM VIP configuration with health check
Knowledge and experience with F5 BIG-IP GTM Wide IP configuration
F5 BIG-IP iRule programming and troubleshooting experience
Extensive knowledge of Citrix NetScaler VIP configuration with health check
Knowledge and experience with Citrix NetScaler Global Load Balancing (Gslb) configuration
Extensive experience working in structured change management, Problem and Incident processes
Production environment experience consisting of Global load balancing, Local load balancing, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression / caching, and DNS
Design and maintenance experience with complex Web hosting network architectures
Experience directly managing routers, switches, load balancers and SSL accelerators in a high-availability infrastructure
Expert understanding of TCP as it pertains to packet inspection and network / application flows
Expert ability to troubleshoot issues and make recommendations for system changes, as needed, to resolve issues
Integration / configuration / administration experience and solid Network background including an understanding of switch, network routing, and firewall concepts
Very strong troubleshooting skills as well as a strong TCP understanding as it pertains to packet inspection and TCP flow in the Network and Application flows
Very good understanding of DNS functionality and concepts as it relates to IPv4 and IPv6
Deep understanding of network protocols (Routing / Switching)
