We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Technical Support Engineer to join our Maintenance & Support (M&S) team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in technical support, Linux systems, databases, and enterprise software solutions. The successful candidate will support customer-facing technical operations and assist with the maintenance of device-related data within our platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and responsive technical support through ticketing systems, email, and other communication channels.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer-reported issues.
- Log, prioritize, track, and manage support requests.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues relating to enterprise software applications.
- Perform basic Linux administration and troubleshooting activities.
- Assist with database-related investigations and data validation tasks.
- Collect, validate, and maintain device and system-related data.
- Support platform administration, reporting activities, and process improvements.
- Use remote access tools to assist customers with troubleshooting and configuration checks.
- Maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in technical training and continuous learning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of PostgreSQL or other relational database platforms.
- Exposure to Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Internship, academic project, or personal project experience.
- Interest in database administration and technical operations.
