This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader who thrives in building scalable systems from the ground up while establishing technical standards, engineering best practices, and a strong development culture. As a Technical Lead, you will work closely with leadership, product teams, and customers to design high-impact platform capabilities, including data integration, reconciliation engines, AI-powered services, and secure multi-tenant architectures. You will play a key role in defining system architecture, mentoring engineers, and delivering production-grade software that emphasizes reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence. Requirements Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend platforms using Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), Celery, and PostgreSQL Architect robust data integration frameworks capable of handling multiple external systems, heterogeneous data sources, and evolving schemas Build intelligent data reconciliation engines with strong validation, auditing, and exception-handling capabilities Develop AI-powered services using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), explainable AI techniques, and reliable data-grounding approaches Design secure multi-tenant architectures with strong data isolation, access control, audit trails, and security best practices Build event-driven systems using asynchronous workflows, message queues, and modular service architectures Define engineering standards for code quality, architecture, testing, documentation, and API design Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Mentor engineers, conduct technical reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and engineering excellence Evaluate and implement AI-assisted development practices while establishing governance and quality controls for AI-generated code Continuously optimize platform performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency What Makes You a Great Fit 8+ years of experience designing and building large-scale production software systems Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), Celery, and PostgreSQL Deep understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, API development, and event-driven application design Proven experience integrating complex external systems and managing large-scale data processing and reconciliation workflows Practical experience implementing Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI-powered enterprise applications Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL optimization, multi-tenant architecture, Row-Level Security (RLS), and database performance tuning Experience designing secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise platforms with strong emphasis on reliability and auditability Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted software development tools and modern engineering workflows Excellent problem-solving, architectural decision-making, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills Experience with enterprise integrations, security standards, cloud-native architectures, or modern frontend technologies such as React or Next.js is an added advantage Show more
