This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic developer of large scale digital & data solutions. You will join a team delivering a wide variety of projects to several different Version 1 customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large scale organisations. We are seeking someone with developed technical skills combined with an ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders to play an important role in developing and delivering data solutions.
You will ideally have experience in building these solutions using a variety of tools & services, and a track record in delivering high quality work.
Responsibilities

- Communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Experience building data solutions using ETL / ELT tools (7-10 years experience)
- Experience in data analysis or relevant working experience
- Expertise in SQL, including query optimisation, window aggregate functions and stored procedures
- Experience with data processing using Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; independent thinker, willing to engage, challenge or learn
- Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate complex concepts
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- General knowledge of business processes, data flows and the quantitative models that generate or consume data
- Should have Databricks certification
Nice to have
- Preferably experience in the financial services industry (for data analysis/relevant working experience)
- Experience in metadata driven processes advantageous
- Direct experience of Snowflake & Amazon S3 advantageous
