Responsibilities
- Run lightweight discovery: user interviews, journey maps, competitor teardowns
- Design flows, wireframes, and polished UI in Figma with reusable components
- Specify motion and micro-interactions engineers can actually build
- Maintain project design systems (tokens, components, docs)
- Pair with frontend engineers during build for pixel fidelity
Requirements
- A portfolio showing shipped web/mobile product work
- 2+ years designing SaaS or enterprise interfaces in Figma
- Systems thinking: tokens, variants, and component APIs
- Clear communication of design rationale to clients
