We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join the infrastructure team for cloud operations at SAP. This team is building next-generation infrastructure, thus enabling the company transition to public cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Continuously analyze and strengthen infrastructure, monitoring capabilities, application architecture, and DevOps processes to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Design and maintain resilient, secure systems by minimizing single points of failure and proactively addressing security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Own and drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams and products.
- Serve as the DevOps champion within the organization by promoting best practices, mentoring Scrum teams, and driving the adoption of modern tools and emerging technologies.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain build systems, CI/CD frameworks, and deployment automation while continuously optimizing and streamlining software delivery processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience in cloud platforms, cloud infrastructures, and cloud technologies.
- Experience working with Unix systems.
- A cloud mindset with an affinity for automation (Bash or Shell or Java or Python).
- Highly flexible and able to change course quickly; able to juggle multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.
- Fluency both written and spoken in English.
