A fast‑growing technology company is hiring a Remote DevOps Engineer (based in Dubai) to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of its AI‑powered data orchestration platform. The role focuses on managing hybrid cloud infrastructure, automating operational processes, and maintaining high system availability while working closely with engineering teams to support CI/CD, monitor production systems, and troubleshoot complex issues in real time.
Responsibilities
- Ensure up‑time, data‑availability, and performance of the AI platform 24/7/365
- Debug critical problems on the production environment with minimal turnaround time
- Automate the operations of thousands of machines that are constantly collecting, crunching, and querying data
- Build and enhance the in‑house monitoring and maintenance software
- Provide tools to monitor performance, deploy code, and provision machines
- Manage the hybrid environment of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and on‑premise data center
- Create innovative solutions to tackle new challenges
- Work closely with engineering teams to support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Monitor production systems and troubleshoot complex issues in real time
- Manage cloud infrastructure and automate operational processes across a hybrid environment
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps
- UNIX/Linux systems knowledge and diagnostic skills
- MySQL and No‑SQL database experience
Nice to have
- Scripting language experience in Python, shell, Terraform, or Ansible
- Google Cloud Platform or other cloud technology experience
