Application Support and Monitoring Engineer

Overview Application Support and Monitoring Engineer CGI is hiring an Application Support and Monitoring Engineer with experience in Dynatrace and ServiceNow to support critical production applications in a high performance ODC environment. Role Overview The role involves monitoring production systems, identifying issues early, and driving incidents to resolution with speed and accuracy. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to maintain a seamless customer experience. This position is based in Bangalore and involves 24x7 rotational shifts in an ODC setup. The focus area is L1/L2 production support. Responsibilities Monitor applications and infrastructure using Dynatrace dashboards Manage the incident lifecycle through ServiceNow, including logging, tracking, and resolution Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis Handle P1/P2 incidents and coordinate bridge calls when required Support post deployment validation and application health checks Collaborate with cross functional teams for issue resolution Act as an L1/L2 escalation point for critical incidents Drive corrective and preventive actions for recurring issues Create and maintain runbooks and operational procedures Technical Environment Dynatrace for APM, monitoring, observability, and log analysis ServiceNow for incident and ticket management Monitoring dashboards, alerting, and KPI/SLI/SLO tracking Production support tools and operational environments Required Skills Hands on experience with Dynatrace Knowledge of ServiceNow incident management Understanding of production support processes Analytical and troubleshooting capabilities What CGI Offers At CGI, employees are considered partners and are encouraged to contribute from day one.
