We're looking for someone who can turn consumer insights into beautiful interfaces. Designing for how people actually behave, not how we wish they would. At AlrightTV, we're building an OTT platform for Hindi-speaking India. Product Designer - App Team.
Responsibilities
- You'll bridge the gap between human emotion and digital functionality. That means you're not just maintaining a design system - you're creating interactive experiences that make people feel something when they open the app.
- You'll work directly with product and engineering. No design manager above you. Your taste, your calls.
Requirements
- Delhi, In-office
- Mid-level 3–5 years
- Translating user behaviour into UI that feels inevitable, not designed
- Building and owning design systems, not just using them
- High-fidelity output that engineers can actually ship without a follow-up call
- Figma at a depth that would embarrass most people - variables, components, prototyping
- Designing for mobile first, and knowing when to break the rules
- You need detailed briefs to get started -> NOT required (i.e., does not need detailed briefs)
- Think design systems are someone else's problem -> NOT required (i.e., takes ownership of design systems)
Nice to have
- Shipped on a consumer app people actually use - OTT, social, gaming, content
- Built or significantly contributed to a component library
- Worked somewhere that moved fast and figured things out as they went
- A feel for how transitions and timing change the way a product feels (motion design sensitivity)
Additional details
- Original vertical series, global dramas, a product that feels like it was made for this country and not imported from somewhere else.
- Dark UI, fast, emotional. Built for the phone in your hand.
