We are looking for a motivated and skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team in Varanasi. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, working with cloud platforms, and transforming data into reliable datasets for analytics and business intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt.
- Build and optimize data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics.
- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across data platforms.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production data pipelines.
- Follow best practices for testing, documentation, version control, and deployment.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role.
- Strong hands‑on experience with dbt.
- Experience working with one or more cloud platforms: GCP, Azure, and AWS.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Willingness to work onsite in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh (Onsite).
- Full‑time employment type (Full‑time).
Nice to have
- Experience with Databricks.
- Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Knowledge of Python for data engineering tasks.
