The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to build and scale the backend engine powering Luupli. From high-performance APIs to cloud-based infrastructure, you'll play a key role in creating the platform’s most critical systems. This is a part-time, equity-only role to start, ideal for someone excited by long-term upside, real ownership, and flexible hours. As we grow, this position will transition into a paid full-time opportunity for core contributors. What You’ll Do - Design and build RESTful APIs using C# / .NET Core - Develop server-side architecture that is modular, testable, and scalable - Collaborate with frontend/mobile teams to align on API contracts and performance - Maintain and optimise database performance and cloud infrastructure - Write clean, efficient, and reusable code for high-concurrency environments - Participate in code reviews, DevOps practices, and system design sessions - Contribute to CI/CD, testing, and documentation processes - (Bonus) Support occasional full-stack features if needed What You’ll Bring - 4–6+ years experience in backend development, with strong C# / .NET Core skills - Solid experience building mobile or web application backends - Strong proficiency with relational and NoSQL/document databases - Familiarity with REST and GraphQL service design - Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs, and security principles - Experience with containerised environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - Bonus: Experience with GCP or cloud-native platforms (AWS/Azure okay) - Bonus: Exposure to event-driven/microservice architectures Why Join Luupli?
