You will join an elite freelance pool focused on training AI to detect fraud, verify identity documents, and maintain the highest standards of KYC (Know Your Customer). Your role is to teach AI models how to distinguish between a real human and a high-fidelity synthetic mask, and between a genuine passport and a masterfully forged document. At TELUS, you ensure that digital access remains secure for everyone.
Responsibilities
- Review and annotate high-resolution scans of international IDs (Passports, Visas, Licenses) to identify microscopic markers of forgery or tampering.
- Evaluate 'Liveness' test data to help AI detect deepfakes, playback attacks, or 3D masks during the face-matching process.
- Audit the accuracy of AI-extracted data (Name, DOB, Expiry) from documents, ensuring the model handles different scripts and localized document formats.
- Act as a 'Fraudster' by testing the system with edge-case documents and synthetic identities to find vulnerabilities in the KYC model.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or Information Security.
- Native-level proficiency in your primary language is mandatory to identify localized document types and regional identity nuances.
- Minimum B1 (Intermediate) level English.
- Exceptional attention to detail, specifically in identifying pixel-level anomalies in digital images.
- Must pass a subject-specific qualification exam to determine suitability for the position.
- Complete ID verification.
