Prithu is a leading end-to-end carbon project developer aiming to sequester 20 million tonnes of CO2e by 2030. We empower smallholder land stewards to mitigate and adapt to climate change through Nature Based Solutions (NBS) like regenerative agriculture, biochar, and afforestation. Responsibilities
- Drive engineering planning, execution, and timely delivery of product releases.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Business teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, development processes, and quality benchmarks.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient software architectures.
- Provide technical direction across frontend, backend, AI, and platform engineering.

Requirements
- 6–10 years of software engineering experience.
- 2–4 years of experience leading engineering teams or managing technical projects.
- Experience building and scaling products in startup or product-based environments.
- Proven ability to lead engineering execution while remaining hands-on with technology.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong experience with React.js.
- Good understanding of modern frontend architecture and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications.
- Familiarity with AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI workflows.

- Experience with AWS and/or GCP.
