Role overview

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

7+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with a strong focus on PostgreSQL.
Strong expertise in PostgreSQL administration and architecture.
Hands-on experience with Patroni cluster setup, management, and troubleshooting.
Experience with ETCD, Consul, ZooKeeper, or other Distributed Configuration Stores (DCS).
In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL performance tuning and query optimization.
Experience configuring and managing pgBackRest for backup and recovery.
Hands-on experience with PgBouncer or pgpool database connection pooling solutions.
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL replication technologies and high-availability solutions.
Experience with database monitoring and alerting tools.
Experience with logical data replication.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Nomad orchestration platforms.

Nice to have

Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Experience managing repositories and workflows using GitHub, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
Experience with Milvus DB.
Experience with MongoDB.
