DevOps Engineer will play a meaningful role in scaling one of the fastest-growing companies in the blockchain and digital-asset security field. Liminal Custody is a digital asset management infrastructure platform, offering secure wallet infrastructure and custody-technology solutions for institutions across the digital asset spectrum. Responsibilities
- Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
- Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities
- Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
- Setting up tools and required infrastructure
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
- Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project
- Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimising the wastage
- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Incidence management and root cause analysis
- Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
- Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- Mentoring and guiding the team members
- Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
- Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in working with production systems and managing infrastructure at a large scale
- Strong experience in managing public cloud infrastructure AWS/Azure/GCP
- 2+ years of experience in Linux system administration
- Strong experience with IAM concepts and setting up IAM policies within the Organization
- Strong DNS concepts
- Hands-on experience in Gitlab & Kubernetes. Responsible for overall Docker & Kubernetes setup, configuration, and Architecture
- Strong experience in configuring end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, Jenkins through GitOps principles
- Should have worked with any IaC tools like Cloudformation/Terraform
- A high degree of proficiency in Linux administration, security, and Shell scripting (Bash, Awk, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Docker and Kubernetes environment
- Experience in working with monitoring systems like DataDog, Grafana, Zabbix
- Experience in working with server logging and log collection like Fluentd, Logstash, Kibana, etc.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Genuine enthusiasm for the digital asset industry
