Role overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing organization. A typical day involves fostering a culture of quality, defining and implementing QA strategies, overseeing testing execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving test automation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Define and implement QA strategies, standards and best practices
  • Establish and maintain test plans, test cases and test cycles
  • Ensure QA processes align with organizational goals and compliance requirements
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies (manual, automated, exploratory)
  • Be part of and oversee functional, regression, integration and performance testing
  • Ability to read and understand code and system architecture
  • Review and approve test cases, scripts and test results
  • Ensure timely identification, documentation and tracking of defects
  • Validate defect fixes and confirm release readiness
  • Balance risk, quality and delivery timelines
  • Act as the primary QA point of contact for projects or products
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps and Business teams
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
  • Communicate QA status, risks and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
  • Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Drive test automation strategy and adoption
  • Select, implement and maintain QA tools and frameworks
  • Ensure proper use of defect tracking and test management systems
  • Analyze test results and trends to improve coverage and efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, security and industry standards (where applicable)
  • Identify quality risks early and propose mitigation plans
  • Support audits, documentation and process assessments

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in testing and QA
  • 1+ years of experience in a senior QA role
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium)
  • Strong knowledge of Coding and SQL
  • Understanding of web applications and multi-tiered product architecture
  • Flexible working across different time zones
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Strong team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail with a proactive mindset

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of Jira and other Atlassian tools
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Gen AI tools knowledge and experience in using AI for testing
