Koru UX Design is a leading UX design agency specializing in HealthTech, partnering with clients to deliver user-centered design solutions that drive innovation and enhance user experiences. We are looking for a UX Design Lead to drive high-value UX initiatives for our clients while strengthening design execution and strategy. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional design work, leading UX engagements, and partnering with stakeholders to align UX efforts with business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead UX projects, ensuring the team delivers impactful solutions aligned with business and user goals.
- Define UX strategy and execution plans, guiding the team on approach, workflows, and best practices.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and client stakeholders to align UX efforts with product objectives.
- Play an active role in shaping the UX of AI-powered product features, internally as well as externally (client facing activities).
- Balance mentorship and execution, reviewing and elevating team deliverables while owning key UX outputs.
- Ensure UX design improves product adoption, efficiency, and user satisfaction, with a focus on measurable business impact.
- Communicate and present design strategies and solutions effectively to both clients and internal teams.
- Coach and mentor designers, ensuring growth in their skills and strategic thinking.
- Enhance UX workflows, design reviews, and quality control processes to improve efficiency and output.
- Promote responsible exploration and integration of AI into design workflows across the team.
- Support hiring and onboarding of new designers.
- Contribute to presales efforts, helping shape UX proposals and strategy discussions with potential clients.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 2 years in leading and managing UX teams, preferably within an agency or service-based business.
- A strong portfolio showcasing UX design work, including projects where you have led teams or managed client accounts.
- Must have experience in B2B products and enterprise applications.
- Leadership & Team Growth – Proven ability to lead, mentor, and elevate design teams to deliver their best work.
- Client & Stakeholder Management – Experienced in managing client expectations, aligning UX solutions with business goals, and influencing product direction.
- Project Execution & Process Management – Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects, ensuring seamless collaboration across UX, development, and product teams.
- UX Expertise & Technical Knowledge – Proficient in UX methodologies, research, prototyping, and usability testing, with a solid understanding of product development.
- Effective Communication – Strong ability to present, advocate, and articulate UX value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Exposure to AI in a product or UX context—whether through tool usage, feature design, or hands-on collaboration on AI-powered products.
