Based in India within Tesco Technology, you’ll work with product managers, engineers, UI designers, researchers, and commercial/CRM teams, taking direction from the Lead Designer and support from Senior UX Designers.

Responsibilities

  • Designing configuration and tooling features with awareness of how operator choices land in the customer experience.
  • Collaborating with UI Designers to translate UX intent into interface design.
  • Using data and qualitative insight to challenge assumptions, improve live tooling, and contribute to team OKRs.
  • Sharing work early, seeking feedback, and participating actively in critique.

Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end UX work across digital products.
  • Strong understanding of human‑centred design methods.
  • Ability to structure problems clearly and design coherent solutions, including for operational and configuration‑heavy contexts.

  • Experience collaborating in cross‑functional teams, with a proactive, open approach to feedback.

  • Mental wellbeing support: self‑help tools, community groups, ally networks, face‑to‑face counselling for colleagues and dependents.
  • Financial wellbeing: one‑to‑one financial coaching at discounted rates and salary advances on earned wages.
