  • Implement and manage automated scaling, health checks, and logging for Kubernetes environments.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for Kubernetes clusters in multi-cloud environments.
  • Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to design and manage cloud-native infrastructures.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and resource efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to manage deployments to Kubernetes clusters.
  • Configure application and network integrations to customer on-premises and cloud-based services.
  • Implement Kubernetes security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, and encryption.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements within the cloud environment.
  • Manage and monitor IAM roles, policies, and permissions on Azure, AWS, GKE platforms.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of Kubernetes configurations, best practices, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide regular reports on cluster performance, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.
  • Work with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications within the Kubernetes clusters.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes-related issues across multiple environments.
  • Provide on-call support as required for cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (4+ years) as a Kubernetes Administrator, Cloud Engineer, or similar role with hands-on experience in managing production Kubernetes cluster environments.
  • Strong knowledge of container orchestration and management in Kubernetes.
  • In-depth experience with cloud-native services on Azure (AKS, Virtual Networks), AWS (EKS, EC2, S3), and GCP (GKE, Cloud Storage).
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Helm, ArgoCD).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Opensearch).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including network security, identity, and access management (IAM).

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across teams, including developers, cloud engineers, and support.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with rapidly changing technologies and cloud service offerings.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage and maintain configurations with accuracy and precision.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to document processes, report issues, and explain solutions.
