Role overview

Responsibilities
- Processing payment metrics (decline rates, processing, payouts, etc.).
- Proactively communicating on production issues to customers.
- Handling disputes and consulting with merchants when they need help managing their disputes or trends.
- Tracking operational task efficiency (onboarding merchants, device logistics and support, working with partners to hold them accountable for SLAs, etc.).
- Identifying and executing opportunities to automate or outsource activities.
- Partnering with product engineering to ensure the product and features are operable by design.
- Partnering with processors to resolve high priority operation issues.
- Representing the platform in customer discussions and handling escalated accounts due to operational issues.
- Driving root cause analysis (RCA) and other feedback and data analysis to learn from current and improve the future.
- Manage end‑to‑end US payroll processing activities, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution.
- Handle payroll compliance activities including federal/state tax regulations, deductions, filings, and audit support.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure compliance with US payroll policies and regulations.
Requirements
- 5‑8 years of experience in managing payment/acquiring operations for a payment processor, bank, or other financial institution.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self‑motivation and goal‑orientation with a desire to deliver results.
- Ability to work with multiple teams to achieve results.
- Ability to handle escalations and resolve issues quickly.
- Ready to work in shifts across different time zones.

- Exposure to global payments landscape is preferred.
