Responsibilities
- Support the work of hundreds of engineers across several products within a global UX team.
- Leverage responsible AI tools and models to improve productivity, quality, and innovation, providing quantified results and following governance practices.
- Lead ideation sessions and present a strong rationale for design decisions.
- Influence day‑to‑day design and research work that spans multiple themes.
- Balance the needs of concurrent projects and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Define and guide features and themes to fit with an overall product portfolio.
- Collaborate with and leverage user experience research.
- Create low‑to‑high fidelity prototypes and mockups using Figma.
- Communicate design decisions verbally and in writing.
- Practice following relevant safeguards and compliance practices (security, privacy, IP protection).
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years designing enterprise product experiences.
- An online portfolio demonstrating advanced, wide‑ranging experiences.
- In‑depth professional knowledge of latest interaction patterns for web, user‑centered design process, design principles and techniques.
- Experience using Figma to create low to high fidelity prototypes and mockups.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead ideation sessions and present a strong rationale for design decisions.
- Individual contributor experience leading teams with complex across‑feature/theme interaction.
- Ability to influence day‑to‑day design and research work that spans multiple themes.
- Ability to balance needs of concurrent projects and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Proven track record of defining and guiding features and themes to fit with an overall portfolio.
- Experience understanding the value of, collaborating with, and leveraging user experience research.
- Concrete examples of AI tools usage to improve outcomes (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Bard, internal ML models, RPA, Figma Make, etc.).
- Ability to quantify AI impact (e.g., time saved, quality improvements, improved usability, revenue growth, reduced errors, faster delivery).
- Proficiency with approaches to AI usage (e.g., prompting strategies, data governance considerations, bias mitigation, evaluation/validation of outputs).
- Practice following relevant safeguards and compliance practices (security, privacy, IP protection).
Nice to have
- Master's degree in design, human‑computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience advocating for user experience in defining and prioritizing themes across UX and engineering teams.
- Demonstrable experience with complex and modern web designs with the ability to create meaningful and delightful experiences.
- Experience maintaining and evolving design systems.
- Working knowledge of current web‑based technologies and frameworks (e.g., CSS, Angular, React) to inform design decisions.
