As Associate Director - Business Finance, you will strategize with business teams on financial spending, ensure governance and controllership, and work with CXOs to drive prioritization around growth and profitability. You will lead a team of finance professionals, aid in problem discovery, implement complex solutions, challenge business orgs, and co-pilot leadership decisions, while managing business development, financial plans, and providing financial advice to management.
Responsibilities
- Strategize with the business team on how and where to spend money
- Ensure governance and controllership are best in class
- Actively work with CXOs to drive prioritisation and choices around growth and profitability
- Lead a team of expert finance professionals
- Aid in problem discovery
- Implement complex business solutions
- Play the critical challenger role in business orgs
- Act as co-pilot in leadership-level decision-making
- Manage business development activities according to a financial plan
- Modify financial plans and budget amounts based on changes in business plans
- Provide financial support and advice to management in closing business deals
- Provide financial support and advice to management on short/medium/long-term strategies
